Great places to try diving

Come diving with us and you'll get to try your first dive at one of a number of terrific spots off the North Queensland coast of Australia or Fiji.

We carefully choose our dive sites so that you'll find it easy getting into and out of the water and most importantly so that you'll see plenty of fascinating marine life and coral along the way.

Great Barrier Reef

Cruise through the beautiful Whitsunday Islands and on to Knuckle Reef Lagoon, acclaimed as the region's most spectacular Great Barrier Reef site. Here you will spend time on Queensland's most innovative & spacious reef pontoon complete with 'moon pool'. We begin your dive in waist deep water before heading over to the reef nearby.

The dive lasts for 30 minutes, again, tailor made to suit your ability and confidence.

Whitsunday Islands

Step aboard world famous maxi yacht 'Ragamuffin' to experience a trip to Blue pearl bay on beautiful Hayman Island. Our introductory dive starts from the beach in waist deep water surrounded by an amazing diversity of tropical fish. The dive lasts for approximately 30 minutes at depths between 1 - 12 metres depending on your confidence level.

what's a bommie?

A coral bommie is an impressive tower of coral that grows from the sea-floor and in many cases reaches the water's surface.

The word bommie is derived from the Aboriginal word "bombora", which means under-sea mountain.

On your dive you'll experience spectacular coral bommies, thousands of tropical fish, various species of clams, beautiful coral and the largest blue pearl bay residents like Maori wrasse and coral trout.
