After completing a Stress & Rescue course you will be a Rescue Diver. If a diving accident were to occur whilst you were around you would have the knowledge to coordinate resources and ensure the appropriate actions were taken.
In addition, and perhaps more importantly you will be able to recognise stress in others and will have the knowledge to be able to diffuse this before stress levels rise to the point where panic occurs.
A good Rescue Diver recognises the situations in which stress can occur amongst different personality types and the signs and symptoms of stress should it arise. They are able to deal with stress within themselves and are thus available to assist other divers who are not as experienced.
At Reef Safari we focus on stress and its diffusion. We explain how dives should be conducted so that everyone has a good time in a comfortable and safe environment where stress is not factor. We will also train you to deal with a situation should it arise - hopefully you will never have to.
